The Population Health and Social Research Program is seeking a Research Fellow, Grade 1 to explore the economic implications of new and existing evidence on the harms and benefits to human health from sun exposure. The economic impact between over-exposure and development of skin cancers will be balanced against under-exposure and the harms from vitamin D deficiency. Economic decision-modelling will be employed to synthesize the existing and emerging evidence and explore these relationships, potential health care interventions and help to develop potential public health policy solutions. Ideally, you will be available to commence in the role from 1 October 2012.
This is a fixed term (2 years), full time position based at the Logan campus. Applicants for part time employment may be considered.
