The Griffith Industry Mentoring Program matches students with experienced professional mentors.  A mentor can assist you to position yourself for graduate employment by offering information and guidance and assisting you to develop your professional networks. 


Eligibility:  

In order to be eligible you need to have completed at least your first year of study (if an undergraduate student) or be a postgraduate student; have a GPA of at least 4 and be a student in semester two as the Program is conducted until the end of the year.  

The deadline for applications has been extended for mentors who are still available in the following fields:

Griffith University Development and Alumni is seeking a current student with skills in event management to assist them with the coordination of two Alumni events.

HEW 4.1 - $33.65 / hour

Responsibilities will include all aspects of event management including:
- writing and sending invitations
- managing the database
- adding information to the event web page
- collating promotional material

Skills:
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- experience in event management, or completing studies in event management
- familiarity with database management
- good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks

Hours:
Flexible hours between 8am and 4pm, commencing immediately for approximately three weeks.
