'Career Essentials' has been developed by Careers and Employment Service to cater for Griffith students of stages of their ‘Career Readiness’ journey during university. Discover the various career paths your degree can take you down, and start devising an action plan that will help you reach your aspirations. It is never to early to start thinking about what you want to achieve in your career and crafting a plan to achieve your unique goals.

During your most recent enrolment period, you may recall comleting a survey called ‘Career Readiness’ (CR). This survey helps us to track your career learning progress so that we may best support you as you develop your confidence, skills and knowledge in this space.

Upon completion of the the survey, you would have been assigned a tile on your ‘myGriffith’ page showing your level of ‘Career Readiness.’ There are 4 stages (Explore, Plan, Act and Advance). Which stage are you currently assigned?

Find out on your ‘myGriffith’ site in your tiles. Click on your CR tile and follow the links to the Career Readiness Canvas site for tools and support. Your tile will show whether you are currently at the Explore, Plan, Act or Advance stage. Click on your tile to see resources and activities aligned to your stage. We have also tailored the ‘Career Essentials’ series to include seminar topics specialised for the each of the 4 stages.
