There is a fantastic opportunity available now for two Griffith students to participate in a 6 week paid internship with the Department of Social Services.

What: Humanitarian Internship Program

Who can apply:

  • have originally lawfully arrived in Australia on a Refugee or Humanitarian visa* (visa subclass 200, 201, 202, 203, 204);
  • be an Australian Citizen*;
  • be studying an undergraduate or postgraduate degree and be enrolled to study in 2019 at Griffith University;
  • have a satisfactory academic record (Grade Point Average of 4.0 or above);
  • be available for placement during October to December;
  • demonstrate reliability and integrity;
  • demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • demonstrate motivation and initiative.
