The Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) is co-hosting the 5th World Congress on Conservation Agriculture (WCCA) and the 3rd Farming System Design Conference in Brisbane from the 26th to the 29th of September.

There is a consideration to make available a platform for both undergrad and postgrad students doing any research on African economics, agriculture, agronomy, environment, ecology, forestry and related areas to register their interest to attend the WCCA with us. Should enough students show interest, we would like to arrange for a workshop/discussion panel for such students to discuss and share their research studies with other research students and leaders in the industry.

WCCA is a world event that will be attended by experts from all over the world including over 30 professionals/officials from Africa. If Agriculture, Economics, Agronomy, Environment, Ecology plus other related areas on Africa are your fields this is a must attend event. You will have the opportunity to make life long connections that might eventual open-up excellent career opportunities for you.

Anyone interested should contact Buyani Thomy on
0401 625 281 or Dr John Dixon (dixon@aciar.gov.au).
