Left Right Fellowships Program
To equip young Australians with the knowledge, networks and inspiration to improve their communities through public policy.

What is Fellowships?
The Left Right Think-Tank Fellowship Program is provided for senior secondary, and first year university students, aged between 16 and 19 years old.

The program consists of a set of workshops that explore all the factors that lead and create change in Australia through a public policy context. We place a strong emphasis on providing expert and often well known guest speakers in the political arena, including Federal and State Government Ministers, journalists and media representatives as well as academics and representatives from other non-government organisations.

The program for the first half of 2011 is being run in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane. A team of fellows in each city will create, under the guidance of our senior policy staff a report that provides clear recommendations on an issue that each team is passionate about. One fellow from each city will be flown to Canberra during a sitting week of parliament and provided the opportunity to pitch their recommendations to a relevant Government Minister on behalf of their team.

Do not pass up an opportunity to:
• Network with other young leaders striving to create change in Australia and the world
• Attend an all-expenses paid trip to Canberra including a behind the scenes tour of Parliament house and the opportunity to meet members of Australia’s parliament
• Engage with our senior policy staff and expert speakers around how to create real change in Australian society
