Scholarship for Australian students at King’s College London
Australian students applying to begin a Masters or PhD programme commencing in 2011 are eligible to apply for the King’s Australian postgraduate scholarship worth up to £15,000. Applicants must be Australian nationals who are applying to commence a full-time research or taught degree programme during the academic year 2011/12.
 
The application deadline for this scholarship is 1st February 2011 for students applying for research programmes and 1st March 2011 for taught Masters programmes.

King’s College London also funds a number of scholarship opportunities for international students and Australian students are encouraged to apply. Menzies Centre at King’s
King’s College London is home to the Menzies Centre . Academic staff in the Menzies Centre for Australian Studies teach BA and MA modules in Australian Literature, History and Film and supervise doctoral students in the field of Australian Studies. However, the Centre is engaged in much more than this; it provides a resource base for visiting Australian scholars; it promotes scholarly and public understanding in Britain and Europe of Australia's history, politics, economy, life and culture; it organises an extensive programme of public lectures, seminars, conferences and business briefings; it maintains an active publishing programme and administers several scholarship and fellowship schemes to promote academic exchange between Britain and Australia.
