About the Brian Gray Scholarship
The Brian Gray Scholarship program provides four scholarships valued at $12,500 each to support students in finance, economics, actuarial science, econometrics, statistics or related disciplines who intend to focus full-time on their studies and research. The Scholarship also provides the opportunity to devote time to an agreed research topic benefiting, where possible, from access to Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) expertise and data. Scholarship holders can also gain valuable work experience with APRA during their final year of study.
The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) and the Reserve Bank of Australia have established the Brian Gray Scholarship in memory of Brian Gray, who died on 24 August 2001 while serving as Executive General Manager of APRA’s Policy, Research and Consulting Division.
