YEAQ & Engineers Without Borders Presentation featuring Vaughn Grey, Young Professional Engineer of the Year

Young Engineers Australia Queensland has invited the current Young Professional Engineer of the Year, Vaughn Grey, to present a thought provoking commentary on his experiences with Engineers Without Borders. This promises to be an engaging and interactive presentation that will push your boundaries on how you can balance professional opportunities (resulting from being awarded titles such as the Young Engineer of the Year) with using your highly valuable engineering skills to help underprivileged communities discover and build a better way of life.

Vaughn Grey graduated with honours from the University of Western Australia with a double degree in Engineering (Mechanical) and Science (Chemistry and Applied Mathematics). Currently working with Sinclair Knight Merz in Perth, Vaughn has been actively involved with Engineers Without Borders since graduation.
Vaughn has a strong interest in international and local aid projects, with a particular focus on developing viable technology solutions for water supply, waste disposal and energy.

 

Tickets are $5 for YEA and EWB members, and $10 for non-members.

All registration income will be donated to Engineers Without Borders.

Attendees are welcome to pay at the door.

 

Refreshments will be provided on the night.
