Cancer Council Queensland is offering financial scholarships for young people affected by cancer.
What are the awards?
- Financial scholarships (of up to $3000) to help with the costs of post-secondary education.
Who can apply?
Applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements:
- Queensland resident
- Aged 16-21 (inclusive)
- Have experienced cancer personally, or with a close family member
- Planning to commence or continue post-secondary education next year in Queensland
How to apply
- Apply online from the second week in June
- Visit www.cancerqld.org.au for information, or
- Call the Cancer Council Helpline on 13 11 20 (toll free)
- Closing date for the return of applications to Cancer Council Queensland is the last Friday in September. (25 September 2009)
