Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) staff will be on campus to talk to final year undergraduate and postgraduate students about their graduate employment opportunities.

In a demanding international environment DFAT needs talented and resourceful graduates to develop and implement policies that advance Australia’s interests, both in Australia and overseas.

Our graduate program allows you to develop and expand your knowledge in a broad range of areas – from international security to public and consular affairs, international law, trade negotiations and corporate and financial management. After a two-year Canberra based program, graduates embark on a posting in one of Australia’s overseas posts.
