Projects:

1. Biodegradability and fertiliser capability of particle board wastes.

2. Assess the degree of success of landscape-level restoration practices undertaken in South-west, Victoria.

3. Ecology and management of perennial Veldt Grass (Ehrharta calycina) and annual Veldt Grass (Ehrharta longiflora) in the Grassy Woodlands, Victoria.

4. Assessing the impact of the South West Integrated Flora & Fauna Team (SWIFFT) on community attitudes.

5. Identifying and understanding the values and multiple uses of McKenzie Creek for biodiversity, tourism and water management.

These projects include scholarship and project funding from Industry partners.

Eligibility: Degree in natural resource management; Australian and New Zealand citizens; Permanent residents.

- PhD/MSc RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP

Project: 'Correlating Weeds in Paddocks to Weeds in Fodder and Hay-Making Equipment'.

The aim of the project is to develop a monitoring technique to correlate weed infestations in a paddock to weed contamination in fodder & to quantify the amount of weed seed collected from machinery used to conserve fodder.

Scholarship $20,427pa tax free (Funding for a Masters is 18 months or three years for a PhD with possible 6 months extension). This project includes project funding from Industry partners.

Eligibility: First-class or 2A honours in natural resource management; Australian and New Zealand citizens; Permanent residents.
