The AusBiotech Student Association is proud to present "BioCareers: Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology night" - an annual event targeted to bring together over 250 tertiary students to meet with representatives from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries in order to discuss careers in the field, and to establish important contacts for the future.
The evening involves the opportunity to network, recruit and educate attendees in regard to career paths in these industries.
The BioCareers night is also an excellent opportunity for students to be inspired by a key speaker, someone with an established career in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector. As well as this, attendees will be involved in a panel discussion with the key speaker and two early career researchers.
The evening also features a networking forum, both before and after the key presentation and panel discussion. Over complimentary drinks and nibbles, this forum will facilitate interactions with industry representatives and sponsors, as well as games and prizes. Organising the event is the AusBiotech Student Association (ABSA), a special interest group of AusBiotech, Australia’s Biotechnology organisation.
