The Young Indigenous Leaders’ Forum is a leadership development program where young people share stories, learn about leadership,
learn how to connect to resources, and network with other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders and mentors. It is organised by the Office for Youth, Department of Communities.

The Brisbane forum is for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders aged 18 to 25. Participants will have an interest in talking about issues facing young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Participants are chosen based on written responses to selection questions. We aim to have a mix of participants based on gender,
backgrounds and locations.
The Brisbane forum will be held from Monday 26 to Thursday 29 May 2008.
