Beijing Olympics Internship Program

In corporation with Beijing International Media Services, a joint venture between Channel 7 and the Government of the People’s Republic of China; AIESEC seeks to give 30-40 young graduates/ undergraduates with a background in event management as well as a technical background in audio, video, production work, an amazing opportunity to gain working experience at the 2008 Beijing Olympics!


AIESEC is searching for candidates who fit the following criteria:

• Graduates/Undergraduates with production experience that would qualify for the roles of:
- Camera Operators
- Audio Operators
- Lighting Operators
- ENG Assistants

• Candidates who are keen to develop their cultural and social awareness by interacting with the Chinese community through social work programs, study tours and various other seminars

• Have a proactive approach to their personal and professional development. Due to the importance of the event, an absolute professional attitude is demanded from the interns throughout the period of the internship.

• Duration: 8 weeks
• Start and End Dates: Mid July - Early September
• Intern Admin Fees: AUD $550
• Minimum Wage: RMB3500 per month with accommodation provided - 10 minutes from Olympic Site
