The Science Writers Festival is back by popular demand! Held in Brisbane (October 3-6), the event will feature a variety of science communication workshops and masterclasses. It s not just about writing : communication skills will be explored in many other forms such as public speaking, use of multimedia, theatre and art.
Throw in a generous dash of song, dance, exercise, exhibits, comedy and a lively pub debate, and you have a festival guaranteed to inspire and invigorate! Whether you are a scientist, a student, a performance or multimedia artist with science-y interests, or a seasoned science communicator, you will find workshops and activities to suit you.
Events will be held at the Mercure Hotel, Sciencentre, Qld Museum, Judith Wright Centre for Contemporary Art and the Terminus Hotel.
