GENERIC SKILLS AND THE WORKPLACE

The Project Team for Stage 4 of the Griffith Graduate Project are holding a Forum on October 1, 10.00am-12.00pm (lunch to follow), at the Eco-Centre, Nathan Campus. The topic of the Forum is the importance of work placements in the development of students generic skills and abilities.

Three panels (academic staff, employers and graduates) will address some of the issues arising from a recently concluded research project in which Griffith graduates were surveyed on the ways in which university, work placements and post-graduation employment contributed to their skills development.
