CALLING ALL FIRST YEAR STUDENTS!

Want to do well at Uni?
Want to meet other first year students?
Want to feel more confident?

Attend this weekly 'SURVIVING & SUCCEEDING AT UNI' meeting held on ALL CAMPUSES - weeks 1 to 13 (excluding mid-semester break). It offers a chance to talk to other new students about how things are going and to work on any concerns as they arise. It aims to help students not only survive but succeed. The meeting has a problem-solving focus, dealing with issues presented by the participants. For example, difficulties settling into uni, crises of confidence, coping with the demands of family and partners, fear of failure.

For some students, attendance for the first few weeks may be enough. Others would benefit from attending on a regular basis throughout the semester. The Counsellor/Group Facilitator can advise on this.
