The November Postgraduate Forum will be held at:
Eco Centre, Nathan campus
26 November, 4-6 pm.

This concluding forum for the year will address the topic of:

Preparing for the PhD examination

The examination of a research thesis is a demanding process that tests the quality of a student's research against the high standards set by the relevant scholarly discipline. What can students expect of the process? What role do you have in relation to choice of assessors? What can you expect in an exam report? What are options when facing a requirement for revisions?

Joining the Dean Graduate Studies will be experienced assessors to provide their viewpoints on what they expect from a PhD thesis.

To facilitate seating and catering arrangements we would appreciate advice from students planning to attend the forum to rsvp to Lyn Hockey via email or on x57026 by Monday 24 November.
