Virtual Information Sessions and Events on Campus 

The Griffith Careers and Employment aim to facilitate industry engagement for our students and recent graduates. At no cost, webinars are an excellent way to raise awareness of your employer brand and Graduate Program/Summer Internship opportunities to Griffith students.

All you need to run an online event for our students is a PC, webcam and microphone, and we will organize the rest! We will provide your organisation with a link that you will click to begin your webinar, and our students will be provided with a link to listen and watch your presentation. We will have a Griffith Careers and Employment staff member logged into your webinar to support you and ensure the presentation runs smoothly. We use Blackboard Collaborate software, which all Griffith students have an existing log in to use. 

Depending on the Information you wish to share with our cohorts, you may wish to host an online event in the style of the following:

  • Employer Overview and roles current recruitment roles.
  • Application Process Q&A
  • Employer Panels
  • Graduate Program/Summer Vacation Program Information Session
  • There are no fees involved for employers to use this service.

Consider hosting an event on campus! Campus events provide a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of your organisation, promote your employment opportunities and meet our talent face to face. If you host an event on campus, you will receive the following free services:

  • Venue booking at your desired campus
  • Parking reservation
  • Access to necessary technology and wifi
  • Promotional package to your specified target audience
  • Our promotional package includes:

  • Promotion through Academic Schools

While the Queensland Government responds to recent COVID-19 cases in South East Queensland, Griffith University continues to follow the advice of the Queensland Chief Health Officer's public health direction regarding COVID-19. We will provide all students with hand sanitiser on the day and slides will be provided via email rather than in person. Please practice social distancing wherever possible.

Social Media and CareerHub Banner Promotion 

Do you have promotional content that you would like us to share with our students and graduates? We have a wide variety of social channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter that we can use to promote your employment opportunities/events/webinars as part of your campus engagement strategy. Send through your content, and if appropriate for our channels, we will email you to notify you which channels and the dates/times your content will be posted on.  

Utilize Careerhub to maximise exposure of your brand and career opportunities. Send through your promotional banner and we can add to our Careerhub homepage, which is viewed by hundreds of students and graduates every day, increasing awarenes your company and employment programs to our wide student network.
